Short Biography: After a couple of years playing the alto sax Marlon started playing the drums in church at the age of 13. Kick, snare, hihat.. yeah...he fell in love with this instrument. His bro and also a unique drummer Sacha Daniël gave him some good music and quality grooves for inspiration. Thanx bro for kicking my ass sometimes... djangkrik! And for a couple of years Marlon got his drumlessons from Henk Parker, who taught him well (thx Henk for your inspiration, energy and time!). Marlon decided to pursue music and auditioned at the conservatory where he got accepted. His fine teachers were Franc auf dem Brincke and Roy Dackus (thx mooie vent!). After and during his study at the Conservatory/ School of Music where he graduaded with honours in the year 2000, Marlon Daniël worked as a studio/ session freelancer with artists such as:
